Blackberry user converting to Droid have a couple issues, need help!!!

OK so I was a long time BB user and decided to switch to the Droid 2. Since I got it last week I've found 2 things and I don't want to look like an idiot walking into the vz store.

1)Battery takes FOREVER to charge, on charger from 15% for 4 hours only at 50%. Any sugguestions?

2)WiFi won't connect, tries and then shuts down. Only have tried on my home network which has WEP security but I've double checked the key 4 times. Any help would be great!

If you are using your computer and usb cable to charge it takes forever, if you are using the wall plug, there is a problem and you may need to take it back. Mine takes a couple hours to go from dead to fully charged. As for the wifi, is your mac filtering on? I know the droid 2 has wifi issues, even mine bugs out sometimes, try using a static ip. Let us know.
