I Have Samsung Galaxy S4... Before Some Days My Friend Do Something In Phone Using Odin In PC,,,, After This I Face A Problem That Whenever I Start My Phone Welcome logo Samsung Logo Sees, After Welcome Logo There Is Black Screen,,, I think There Is Firmware Problem... My suggestion is that your "friend" messed it up so you need to get him/her to fix it.
