Black notification bar

I kno u hav to root ur fone to do this, but I dnt kno how. I read some step by step instructions on how to do it, but failed. Kan someone help me out please??

Which guide did you use? Try link #2 in my sig. This a good guide to root and MotoCache1 did a great job putting together.

To my understaing the black notification bar it is ROM or Theme specific.

In SS 4.8 themed it is dark blue.

If you get UD8, it is black..
