Bionic locks me out when on charger??

My Bionic locks when I put it on the charger. Is this normal? I hope not. What can I do about this>

Locks how? If your refering to the lockscreen, it isn't disabled when you charge your phone. Please try and specify the problem so we can try and help you a little better.

Locks

When I put my Bionic on the Charger the screen locks and I cannot get it to unlock. I have tried to tap to unlock the screen and it will not unlock.

Are you using the ac charger and cable that came with the Bionic? Or are you charging by usb with a computer?

Hmmmm so does the screen turn on and you can see the lockscreen? Or do u just have a black screen? Are you using the charger that came with the Bionic? If your using a different charger than what the the one that came with your Bionic that might be your problem. I use the charger from my old Og Droid at home and it works fine but other people have reported problems when using other chargers such as an unresponsive screen.

Yes, I am using the charger that came with the phone. And yes I can see the screen; but it is covered by the lock screen and will not let me open it until I take it off the charger.

Hmmm that's weird. I haven't seen that. Have you tried rebooting? Also is your charger plugged directly into the wall or a power strip or extension cord?
