ok, I'm not a total noob but i feel like one this time around. I have a Bionic with 4ever root on 5.9.893 stock. I recieved the OTA update 5.9.902 so i went and unfroze my apps before install and had moved a good majority of them to my sd card so my internal had more room. After moving them back i allowed the update, which failed. After restarting the phone i looked in the system tray* and almost none of the apps were there, so i looked in filemanager and clicked on one only to get "parse error: there is a problem parsing the package" and they all do this. So now im stumped as to what i should do.... Please help me! im getting really annoyed with my bionic anyway since i got .893 and supposedly .902 is supposed to be much better.

edit. app drawer* not system tray

When moving your apps back to system you did you make sure you fixed permissions?

when you copy and paste an app from your sdcard to your system/app folder....it needs to read rw-r-r

If those moved apks still don't show up in your app drawer then the OTA will probably never install.... what APKs are still not showing in your app drawer?

So you are on 5.5.893 correct? and not on 5.7.893 or 5.9.893?...
If yes then try placing this loose in your SDCard-Ext, boot into stock recovery and try flashing this file from there...

It's the full OTA from 5.5.893 to 5.9.902

5.5.893 yes. My bad. Typed the wrong number. I'll give it a go. How do you boot in stock recovery? I haven't done it in awhile and can't remember. Lol

Hold the volume up and down at the same time and press the power button...
then you'll be in stock boot menu... from there volume down to Recovery, then press the Up volume key...
it will then go to an android man with an Exclamation point, just press volume up and down together to get to stock recovery menu...
from there press 'apply update from sdcard', select the 5.5.893 to 5.9.902 OTA I linked you to....

try that

If it still fails then it'll tell you that it's with your 5.5.893 on your phone currently and not a corrupted download of the OTA...
