So I was looking and reading the older Droid X forums and noticed people were recommending wiping the battery stats on their Droid X's for better battery life?

Is that something we need to consider doing for ours?

I would if you swap to an extended battery. Since we do not yet have CWM, download Terminal Emulator, type in SU then hit enter, then type in BSTATS then hit enter, if your phone reboots it worked.

This is, of course, after you've rooted your phone I presume?

Possible to be unrooted and do it via adb?

rm /data/system/batterystats.bin
exit
