Welcome! If you are considering rooting I suggest that you read, read, and read some more. Check youtube for videos as well. Here is a link(http://www.droidforums.net/forum/ha...-phone-2-1-rom-o-c-mm-boot-animation-etc.html)
to the most comprehensive process for rooting, installing SRPrecovery, backing up you apps and data, installing a new rom. etc.
