I was about to put in a plug for the sub-$300 Viewsonic 10" gTab...but then noticed the Galaxy is a third of an inch thick. OK, wow. Can't compete with that.
Yeah, it's true the Galaxy will be on the shelf with HC3.1, while the gTab is running an HC3.0 alpha. But there has to be some tradeoffs for staying under $300!
