Beautiful Widgets question

Does the weather animation occur on your desktop once you put up the widget? or do you have to open it up fully to see the animation?

If it doesnt animate on your desktop than this isn't as big of a deal as people are making it to be.

the widget it self is not animated there is a live wallpaper for it though

and its a very nice skinable clock with or without animation

If you tap on the icon of the current weather on the widget, it'll bring up an overlay window where it'll have a 4 or 5 day forecast on the bottom and an animation of the current weather at the top.
