Battery pull

How does one open the Galaxy Tab, to do a battery pull, if needed? I saw no information in the manual.

Short answer is, like the iPh*ne you don't. You take it in for warranty service. Otherwise, you can search on YouTube. JKKMobile or someone like that has a tear down video on how to crack it open if you're not squeamish about it.

Wow! Thank you for the information. So, if powering unit down to correct the issue doesn't work, the next step is to do a restore.

Thanks again!

Pretty much. You obviousy can pry the thing open, but, yeah, it's not intended. Knock on wood, my battery life has been very good for me so far.
