Battery Circle Widget vanished

Until a couple of days ago, my phone's home screen showed the circle widget with three circles, the rightmost circle being a battery level monitor. Now, the rightmost circle has a gear icon, which leads to the Circles settings. Restoring the battery level monitor is not one of the options! How can I put it back?

Swipe it (the circle where the battery should be) up or down to rotate it, if I remember correctly.
