baseball apps

Sync your droid first, then open the calendar app. That is what worked for me. If it doesn't work for you, I'm not sure what else to tell you.
I also can not get my Teams schedule onto my calendar. I added my Cubbies and Liverpool, but they do not show up on my droid. I know my droid is synced since I added an event for tomorrow and saved it on my PC and a second later it notified my droid. Bummed right now I can not see upcoming games, but atleast I do have Google Scoreboard to use.

Open your calender app on your phone. Press the menu button, then more, then my calendars. You should now see all of your different calendars. Just check which one you want to show in your calendar app.
I do that and my OK button is greyed out when I go to Add Calendars. I have unistalled my current calendar and reinstalled and everytime it just brings up my standard calendar. It's like it does not recognize the teams I have selected.

These are the exact directions I followed from an mlb website:

Google Calendar

(Any computer with a web browser)
  1. Go to http://www.google.com/calendar and sign in. If you do not have a Google Account create one using the link provided at the bottom of the page.
  2. Click on "Add" in the "Other Calendars" box located at the bottom of the menu on the left.
  3. Under Add select "Add by URL".
  4. Copy and paste the URL of the iCalendar file into the pop up window. The new calendar will now appear and is accessible from the My Calendars menu located on the left hand side of the screen.
I then synced my droid as I said, opened my Droid's stock calender app, pressed the menu button, then "more", then "my calenders", then hit the check mark next to the calenders I wanted displayed within the stock Droid calender app.

This is the exact method I used. It worked the very first time for me. I hope it will help get you the results you require.

how do you find the "url of the icalendar"???

pain in the ass to do it 162 times, but in your google calendar, after you've added your teams schedule, you can click on each game and choose "copy to my calendar", then save it. that will sync it to your droid calendar.

What I do not get is, when I goto my Google calendar online via my PC all my sports teams show games up there. Yet it will not sync it to my Droid. Now, here is the kicker. If I add an event on my Droid it will sync to the calendar online.

I don't know how people are doing this. As previously stated in this thread, Google says it is not possible to sync sports calendars with mobile devices. I've tried it too, and it doesn't work for me. I can sync all the other "interesting calendars" but none of the sports ones.

And that option actually works better for me, because I share some season tickets with a few other people and I only want my games in the calendar. :)

I am using " mob4 " app. just type that in the market. And you will get all teams schedules , rankings/standings , latest news , and scores.

Seems to work so far. Kinda ugly but gets the job done.

You just have to scroll through to find what team you want.

I've given the exact method in this thread that I've used and repeated on my phone and my friends phones and it works just fine for me.

AGGRAVATING.

Been trying this for a week. I want my damn Tigers schedule on my Moto Droid, but it won't sync no matter what I do.

Now, i goto the Tigers page to download the schedule and try to import it into my Exchange account, only to find that the Tigers have "removed all Ical and schedules". Awesome.

W T F

Much like everyone else, I have the calendar on the desktop Google calendar...it just won't sync to Droid.

/pffffffffff about to puke on my keyboard.

pm me your email address and I can send you a copy of the Tigers schedule.

That's weird. Right before the season I was able to load the Orioles schedule through iCalander but now I went to their website and it's not available. The iCalander thing was easy as pie.
