Auto CC self to emails

I am trying to auto cc myself to emails so i can be sure my friends receive my email. Is there a way to auto cc or receipt request?

well i've found gmail very reliable, and i lose 3g service often
living in a rural area, emails are not labeled sent unless they are sent
create a second gmail account its free
then on a pc, you should be able to create a filter for all sent mail to be forwarded to second gmail address
add account to phone
