AT&T customers who own the HTC One M8 may be both pleased and disappointed by today's update that started rolling out to their devices. While several notable features have been added to the device, including the eye Experience and HD Voice, the OS update is simply Android 4.4.4. It would be far more exciting if it was Android 5.0 Lollipop, but apparently HTC needs a while longer to make that work on their flagship from last year.

Still, despite this, it should be a great update for many users. Along with everything listed above, this update also includes a host of new features including: security fixes, a Bluetooth enhancement, a Copy and Paste feature for the camera, AMBS Cloud Messaging integration, a Usage Manager app for the phone, improved battery life and updates to AT&T Ready2Go and Visual Voicemail.

Keep in mind that the update will be sent out in waves/phases, so if you don't see yours right away, just be patient as it will arrive in a week or two.
