Even if you aren't a fan of Facebook Home, the new deal for the HTC First (also known as the Facebook Home phone) is worth a look. AT&T just dropped the price of the device down to $350 off contract, and to only $0.99 on contract. That's a phenomenal deal when you consider that the specs of the device are pretty decent, but more importantly, underneath the Facebook Home facade (which can be disabled) is a pure Google Android experience. Here's a quick recap of specs,
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Display: 4.3-inch LCD, 720p
  • Camera: 5MP rear, 1.6MP front
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS
  • Four color options: red, blue, white, black
  • 4G LTE
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean + HTC Sense 4.1 + Facebook Home
If you are on AT&T and want to have a stock Android phone, but also want LTE, this device is pretty much your only option. Yes, you can nab the Nexus 4 from LG, but it doesn't have LTE. Regardless, if you are up for a new contract with AT&T, a one dollar phone of this quality is definitely worth a second look. Here's a link below to check it out.
