Astrid shutting down

Just received an email from Astrid that they are shutting down as of August 5. Does this mean that the app will no longer work? Or just the notifications from Astrid?

that is the way I understand Astrid...they will be gone 5 August. Looking for a replacement....Astrid was the best.

But the app on the phone should still work. Just they'll be no more email reminder
