aps running in the background????

went to home--manage aps----aps running and found these:
google services, motorola dock service, vz navigator, global unplug, multi touch keyboard.....why do they run all the time and what are they doing.....can i stop map services?..
I didnt mention others that are running as i knew what they were, and why they might be running......
please advise

I'd say you have 2 avenues here:
1) Just ignore the stock stuff that runs. Don't autokill it; don't manually kill it. Reboot your phone and look at what is running. If anything that you've installed is running and you can't think of a reason it should be then uninstall it and find an alternative. Don't use automatic task killers.
2) Root the phone and disable stuff. I'd wait on this one because the phone just got rooted today and I don't know what is smart to disable yet.
