Application icons

I have downloaded a number of applications but I can't find the icons for them. They do not appear on the screen with the other icons. Where can I find them?

I have a Droid. Any app that I download appears in my app drawer which I access by tapping the app drawer icon located at the bottom of my screen (four by four square). Not sure if your's is the same.

If not, tap menu, tap settings, tap applications, tap all. This will display all of your applications
