Apple Event 9/12/17 - iPhone 8 / iPhone X

It seems the iPhone 8 kept the fingerprint button but x only has face id

going to be interesting, getting the face id to work when a person first get up in the mornings or for women who was wearing a lot of makeup when they created their scan. I wonder how long it will be before someone finds a way to trick it.

I'm kind of digging the live emoji thing. I could enjoy that. Hope we get it soon. Still not enough too even consider an iPhone

So Animoji is the new big thing? [emoji3]. Did that one move as I smiled?

I think the new Apple Watch is probably the most exciting device out of the announcement today. The ability to use the same number as your phone to make calls and send messages is cool. The heart rate monitor improvements are neat.

The iPhone 8, eh it's a decent upgrade. Nothing to get all that excited about.

The iPhone X's Infrared Face Detection is a pretty cool though!

Beards and makeup are not a problem. And you have a million tries to hack it. [emoji3]

*** "Apple claims it’s not confused by hairstyles, or whether you’re wearing a hat, or if you decide to grow a beard. Protections against masks and pictures are in place, and face data is stored in the secure enclave inside the A11 Bionic chip. Don't worry about it being less secure than other biometric systems. It's not, says Apple. The chance of someone other than you unlocking your phone with Touch ID is 1 in 50,000, but for Face ID it’s one in a million." ***
