AP Fastboot not working

When ever I plug my usb cable in to my computer while in fastboot mode I get the windows error sound. In device manager other devices say "Fastboot CDMA_SPYDER S" I have tried updating this driver to no avail. Any ideas?

Im thinking it has to be my windows 7 computer, because I got my refurbed Maxx and ap fastboot still does not work

Fixed it, I installed the drivers for pdanet and I was able to get it to connect.
