My friend has an Iphone, And he just got a golden case for it, that looks like this

I was wondering if anyone else has heard of a golden case like this for the moto. droid? Thanks !

Seriously, why even bother making the distinction? Nobody is going to be confused by the use of the word "case" to describe the item in that image.

OP, it looks like Seido makes something similar, although it's tough to tell if theirs has the chrome as well:

Penguissimo, I think the point manningfan10 was trying to make is that the picture is of a housing (to replace the iPhones housing) where you linked to an actual case (to cover and protect the phone).

Granted, I'm willing to give in to the point that the OP was probably just giving an example of the color of the case he wants

The Seido case is probably not going to be the crome finish, but its a nice case.

As to Manningfan10's comment, it should be noted that if that is what your friend got, and it is a housing and not a case, then if you get a case for your droid it will go over your phone and make it thicker, not replace the existing housing like the photo would. (I have a seido case myself and love it).

Tape that bad boy off, sandblast it, and get some clear adhesive spray paint, gold spray paint, some clear coat, some rubbing compound, and a soft rag to buff it, then have at it!

I'll post pictures once I'm done. I had a metallic red case and I took the back piece and painted it gold... I'm leaving the faceplate red.
