Anyone have the APP "Police Stream"

Does anyone have this app? It's pretty much a scanner...
I bought it today.. but it seems like 1 of 2 channels.. when you click to listen a prompt box comes up saying "stream offline"... anyone know what's up with that?

not a clue prolly so you dont hear emergency channels... i think anyway

It's pulling the feed from RadioReference.com - Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference You may want to check there and see if the same thing is happening.

Happens to me too. I just figured where they are getting their stream from is having issues. Within the next couple of days its up and going again from what I have noticed.

Hey I went to that site and found the feed, and the provider
User details for: KC4ASF on RadioReference

I am listening to it on the web... but still having troubles with the droid - still says "stream offline" AH! any other suggestions?

I found the link to the feed of my local EMS on radioreference.com in .m3u format, and put the link in DroidLive Lite and I stream just fine for free.

I just downloaded droidlive lite... i don't see where I can plug in the m3u link... which I don't even know where to find that on radioreference lol... can you help me out?
is that m3u link the html code that pops up in the pop-up window while I"m listening to it streaming off the web?

I think I selected winamp type of file, and instead of clicking to download it, I saved the link and sent it via email to my Droid, and cut and pasted it into DroidLive Lite as a url. It checked it, and saved it as a favorite. Works like a charm!

okay sweet.. i used a different link and it said unsupported file.. I'll try the winamp

okay i chose the WinAmp format, and clicked listen... then it prompt box came up like you said, saying open with, or save file.......at first I opened it up, hoping to see a link.. but didn't.. so then I closed it and saw tried it again.... before i chose to open the file.. the file name 258980-5049442156.m3u - I plugged that in.. thinking that is what you are talking about.. and that didnt' work either.... what am i doing wrong?
