Anyone else's Nexus auto calling Verizon to update its PRL?

My Nexus called the *22289 last night by itself. It actually did it twice.

A google search last night showed me that it was updating its PRL, but the replies and info are sketchy overall.


So...anyone else's Nexus done this here?


I'm on PRL 52642 btw now, whatever that means.

Yes, it's normal. Has happened to many... You are correct; it's an auto update initiated by Verizon to update the PRL.

For what it's worth, I'm on 52642 also and my reception is outstanding.

Yup others have reported this as well... I headed it off at the pass and put the *22289 in contacts and dialed it updating my PRL to 52642 also before it had a chance to auto dial for the update

There is an update coming?! Really? haha no OTA to 4.0.3... we are stuck indefinitely so it seems at 4.0.2 Unless ya wanna ROM that is...
