Any way of getting a different phone through insurance?

Well, after thinking, Craigslist will probably be more than a hastle for me. I want the Droid X or Thunderbolt. Is there any way to get it somehow? Without having to pay full price? I have insurance, and I asked about it, but they said they can only send me the Fascinate as a replacement phone. Any way to get around that? Fyi, I don't mind paying the difference for anything.

There has got to be a way around it. My sister Just did it. She went from the Incredible to a refurbished X for free.
