Any updates as far as Honeycomb or Ice Cream

Honeycomb is for tablets, not phones.

Motorola has not said a word about ICS except for it's 4g lineup (bionic&razr)

So far the closest thing to ICS for droid X2 is running Eclipse 1.3 with the ICS theme,..I'm not sure if ICS theme works on 2.0 eclipse yet ?

I'm pretty sure we will get the update, as my wife works in a service industry that deals directly with Bluetooth capable handsets and she deals with moto on a daily basis, and she came home to tell me that when I get the update for my phone she wants to take it to work for a day, as her phone will not be getting it " dg2 " so I'm taking as we will be getting the ics update, so take the info at hand as you wish, I'm just passing along my thoughts on it.

Another update would be nice...hate my battery reading going from 70% to 90% on a reboot. Should be going down not up correct? lol. That spec. went whack in the last 2.3.4 update.

I think with the barrage of new phones coming from Motorola lately their concern is with the Flagship phones that fell short of their glory,(i.e.) the Bionic to get the upgrade first.. But I'm optimistic that we will get the update too.

In my head I'm confidant we'll get at least one more update and I hope it's ICS.

In reality I'm still looking for the unlocked boot loaders they promised at the end of the year. And since that ain't gonna happen I find myself doubting ICS will ever be official. I'm sure we'll get some sort of 2nd Init version one day though. CM9 probably.

if you are rooted you can fix that. there is a thread on here with the fix.

With 512mb of ram, it unlikely that the x2 will get ics. From what I have heard, 512mb is not enough for both ics and motoblur, and Motorola will opt to keep blur.
