ANY Possible Way to Organize SD card?

The folders are scattered everywhere, and honestly it looks tacky as hell.

unfortunately I think that is the result of an open market without rules or guidelines. There is nothing to say how a developer should create their file/folder structures.

You can clean up some of it yourself. Off the root of the sdcard I have:
Media
>Movies
>Music
>Ringtones
>Alerts
>Notifications

etc, etc,
