Anoying spam notifications

How do I get them to stop, I get this green cross at the top of my notification bar, with spam crap like dating apps and the sort, wtf, this started the last few days.

Get airpush detector..it will tell you what apps those ads are coming from

That'll tell what is causing them but doesn't block them, leaving either get a blocker app or delete the app pushing the ads. I use AirPush Permanent Opt Out to block ads from showing up without having to delete the apps that use Air Push.

Yeah, the Opt Out did nothing for me. I ended up just deleting the apps responsible.

It works fine for me.
Did you read any of the 1stars? Most are because it doesn't remove banner ads. The app is not for banner ads. It's like giving Tapatalk a 1 because it doesn't link to Facebook or Twitter.
