im new here, just bought my first droid, also looking for the fastest way to learn how to make applications as Im also a website designer and webmaster. Any suggestions are welcome, looks like a huge forum of knowledge here.

Welcome to the forum. The two I know of are About - App Inventor for Android and AppMakr Blog Signup to create apps on Android and Windows Phone devices. Glad to have you. BTW, what phone do you have?
