Phone has set at idle most of the day. Battery info shows Android so has used 46% of my battery. Is this normal

That is 40% of the amount of battery used. Not 40% of battery capacity. The OS % of USED battery is not unusual from my experience if the phone has set idle most of the day. Start using your phone and watch the OS % go down while display and whatever you're doing go up.
