Android market down?

I'm in Western NY and the market is not working on any of our 3 devices. Anyone else having this problem?

mine is working fine in Michigan, we're fairly close, are you on wifi or have you tried airplane mode toggling?

Could be the local tower. Idk. Its not working on a rooted droid, unrooted droid or rooted nook color.

i can see my apps and select those to update but after a short time trying to download it disappears. also cant download new apps.

Market not working here either... in the bay area.
just stopped around an hour ago. I have a droid

Mine is working fine, in Cleveland, Ohio - both wifi and 3g .

Market's down in Baltimore. Friend in Houston has market, but it's crazy slow. He said it's due to major addition of apps. Who knows?

Same issue here in Schenectady, NY

Google Maps 5.1 update overloaded the servers is one theory that I read while Google-ing the issue.
