Android Auto and the G3

What is up with this?
I just got this for my car and phone bt now finding out the phone isnt compatible?

Any idea on if/when a fix may happen?

That's pretty unusual any more especially for a newer phone. It sounds like the issue is with the car not the phone. Maybe you can check for a software/firmware update on the car. What year is it?

From what I have seen on line.. google and LG are aware of this issue.

More telling, however, is the list of phones that don't work.Google's got a couple of known issuesthat we've experienced as well.

  • The LG G3 — hardly a niche phone — is out. It just doesn't connect at all, and that makes sense when you see what it does when you plug it into a computer.

I looked at your title as if it was generic. Didn't realize it was THE Android Auto. Guess you'll just have to take the car back. ;);)
