Folder limit on G3?

Just got the G3 (Verizon) and was setting up my email. I have a lot of folders. It seems the limit is 98 folders, which isn't enough for me. Why is there a limit? I didn't have any limit on my Galaxy Nexus. If I can't sync all my folders I am returning the phone.

Any ideas?

Are you using the stock app? Configured as IMAP?

Yes, this is the stock app configured as IMAP.

I don't have nearly that many folders but you may want to see if K-9 mail may do it. I have several other people using K-9 or Kaiten syncing lots of folders but not that many. Just a thought
