Here's the final proof that Android 4.4.3 should be coming very soon. The changelog for the "as-yet-unreleased" KitKat update has been updated to the AOSP. Ironically, according to the dates detailed by the changelog the update was added 3 weeks ago, but it was only just now uploaded to the AOSP. Here's a quote with more of the details,

The changelog was first added 3 weeks ago, but it may not have been uploaded to AOSP until more recently. Judging by the build numbers listed and the relative position of the 4.4.3 tag, there's a good chance KTU70 is going to be the final release. That particular version would have been built on March 11th (build number parser).

This changelog seems to contain every accepted modification since KitKat 4.4, not just those from 4.4.2 - and at 5293 lines of text, it's certainly not a quick read.

It shouldn't be too long before this update finally starts pushing out to devices like the Nexus 5 and others. Not only that, but the timing of this update is very close to the typical timeframe when Google launches the newest "flavor" of Android. That seems to confirm earlier suspicion that 4.4.3 will be the last incremental update before the "L" version of Android.
