Google is sticking to making Android as open as possible. They have just released a new build of Android 4.0/ Ice Cream Sandwich for Intel's x86 platform. Android-x86 is the open source project from Google. In fact, you can download this latest build and try it out on several x86 architecture devices including the Asus Eee PCs, the Viewsonic Viewtab 10, the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 tablets, the Dell Inspiron Mini Duo, and more.

For those brave modders/hackers with the right gumption and the right hardware, you could even run it on your PC. I can think of several folks that could have fun with this. How about you guys?

But isn't like turning to the dark side? (spoken in a weak hollow whisper)
