if I'm reading the media API changes right, we should be seeing Music apps with a built in equalizer!

Wow I really hope your right, to me the missing equalizer is the only thing missing to make it truly rival the iphone as a media player

IIRC from reading in the forums part of the point of Froyo is to make the Android OS how should I say it, less fragmented? In other words from what I've read that this update is probably the last huge update, and from that point on they are going to drop things in on an "as needed" basis.

But then again I read somewhere about another update with a code name on it already. So I'm not certain.

My point is that I think it's most definitely headed for the N1 and then the Droid.

Gingerbread. And they're following the alphabet. So the next one after Gingerbread is gonna be H** *****

this. there was a rumor floating around that in order to fix the segregation, that verizon was going to be dropping responsibility for future updates. froyo will be proof one way or the other.

we're already talking gingerbread here. i'm sure afterwards is probably honeydew.

Can't think of many Hs.
Hot fudge sunday is about the only one that comes to mind.
