Mine defaulted to the same old 3 button navigation style. Did you get the new one with only back button and multi-function "home" button?

Noticed the update was available late Wednesday, and ran the update yesterday morning. Have the 3 buttons, and like having them. Sorta the devil you know thing.

I will say that this is the reason I have the Pixel 2XL. Love the prompt updates.
