an app to highlight addresses or easy copy text in email

is there an app in the market that will enable this capability ? i hate how it won't highlight an address or a phone number in an email. to copy text i have to go to the menu and select text then go select the text... is there an app that will give a cursor for start/finish copy of text ?

Hopefully this "selection" feature will come with gingerbread. I really think it is one of the few minor but HUGE downfalls of the OS. Like you said, all we need are little "start" and "end" sliders and a SELECT button when we are done... Hopefully this comes...

Goes to show it's tough when we have amazing developers out there hacking their phones and adding so much to the original Android system, and yet something as simple as this is still a huge task...
