We've seen this before with other Tablets, but it looks like Amazon's new Android Tablets that are coming later this year may face supply shortages because Apple has bought up most of the supply already. It may be frustrating, but it is hardly a surprise, as it's simply supply and demand for the different parts dealers. Amazon had plans to build 4 Million Android related tablets, but that figure is in doubt thanks to Apple's products eating up much of the supply chain. From the way it looks, Amazon will count themselves lucky if they get enough parts for 1.5 to 2 Million tablets. For those wanting to grab one of these dual-core and quad-core Amazon Android Tablets later this fall, you may need to take advantage of a pre-order as soon as you see one. We will keep an eye out and report as soon as we know anything.

And this is part of Apple's business practices. They buy up the majority of the components and screw the others over.
