It's that time again. A new technological marvel hits the streets and those crazy tech gurus over at iFixit are compelled to destroy it. Of course, it's all in good fun and in the name of science. Plus, they do it in the most gentle manner possible. The newest device to hit their operating table is the just announced Amazon Kindle Fire TV device.
They had a number of intriguing things to say about it. First up, it scores an iFixit repairability rating of 6 out of 10. That's a bit better than average, so Amazon deserves some praise, but not quite good enough that the "average Joe" would want to attempt it themselves.
