Folks who re-ordered an Amazon Fire Phone will be pleased to know their device probably started shipping today. Amazon's plan is to have it on your doorstep by tomorrow (Thursday, July 24th) in most cases.
For those who haven't yet ordered it and were wanting to do so, you can order it today. As a reminder, when you buy the phone, you get a year's worth of Amazon Prime free. If you already have an Amazon Prime membership, then it extends by another year.
Here at HQ we still aren't big fans of the device, but we can definitely see the appeal for heavy Amazon users. This device will not likely be even half as big of a hit as the Kindle Fire series of tablets, but it should reach a decent audience. Sound off if you (or a friend or family member) are considering Amazon's Fire Phone.
