who has not had any issues at all with gingerbread? What's the deal with all these problems that people are having?

A lot of people are having issues with GB. I myself have issues with it and it's starting to anger me. You're not the only one!

I didn't have any problems with it besides a little laggyness but I did sbf and then updated before I let my apps redownload. Id say going the root way is much better anyways but thats my personal opinion

I am running the .595 leak and love it. I have used .573 and .588. The .595 leak is the best

My problems are personal and more annoyances at changes they did not have to make nor did they provide a way to configure them to my liking.

It's like buying a blue car only to open the garage one day to find out that Chevrolet changed it to red because it was an "easier to see color". Well, I was quite fine with the blue color so there was no need to change it. Can I change it back to blue? Uh no. That's just lame. Even Windows provides you the capability to change colors to what YOU want, not what Microsoft wants.

Make it BETTER not necessarily DIFFERENT.

I shouldn't have to hunt and search and post in forums for something I was doing yesterday....

Relatively minor issues thus far. Deleted my emergency contact information which had to be replaced. The lock screen isn't as snappy. Some of the blur widgets are more fugly than before. The hardkey lights are flipping bright and turn on more often than they did in the past.

So far I think I'm still glad I made the move.

All in all, I'm quite happy. A few minor hiccups, but with a few app updates everything is running beautifully now. People only post when they're unhappy, not when things are perfect. For every one "I hate GB" thread, there are a thousand people who don't have a single problem.

I have a never-rooted phone and have had no real problems so far with Gingerbread. It did delete all my speed dial numbers, but it was easy enough to redo them. The other known problem -- deleting emergency contact info -- did not happen to me. Mine are still there.

I installed the TBH 2 part update to get rooted. 596 from rooted froyo and I have had no issues thus far. not laggy. no crazy battery drain. its been well worth the upgrade. cheers!
