Always got good info here for my phones, how about for a Kindle Fire HD 8.9

Just got it last night as a gift and I cannot believe how locked down it is. It's infuriating. Can anyone point me in the direction of a rooting guide for the HD 8.9 running 8.4.6?

I found a few myself but I can't seem to tell if they will work for the 8.4.6.

Might get a quicker answer at the link below. It it is sister site to this one. And yes, Amazon has those things locked down quite a bit. Though I've been able to sideload nearly everything I've tried on my Fire.
