All of the sudden going slow?

I've been having my droid 3 for about a few weeks now. Everything was fine until today I noticed its starting to get laggy. Idk why it just is. I press home and it takes a few secs for everything to load up like apps and when I press the app drawer it states loading apps for 10-20 secs what gives? Is it the ram, where can I find how much ram I have? Thanks for the help.

Check your ram...

from the homescreen... menu/settings/applications/manage applications/running

Ram shows down at the bottom of the screen

Also while you are in this window... clear all your cache files
Select all... Click on each app... scroll down and clear cache
Especially browser/market/youtube/facebook

Do a Hard reset on your phone once in awhile.. (once a week?) Or so

Power off... remove battery... leave battery out for awhile (go take a shower)
replace batt... turn on

I usually do both of these every few days
Clear cache first... then hard boot... makes it all clean and mean and fast again

@b00mb00m

Thanks for the info, b00mb00m. While in the running apps menu, I noticed you can click on the used and free ram on the bottom there and see different lists. On the used list I see a service called "Suggestions Core RuleCheck" any idea what this service is?
