Alert!! !! Paypal mobile glitch

I just d/l PayPal mobile app.
Used my info to sign in.
The account was someone else's name.
I could see history ...
Balance was 0. I exited and verified my info and signed back, same name again with a balance over $2500.... I sent myself (same email to login) $1 to verify it wasn't just glitching. When it sent and returned to main page balance was around $200...

I checked my PC and verified a balance of $1, but no history of where it came...

I did refund that $1 and also sent email to PayPal and that user stating what I was seeing.

The kicker
I clear data for the app, signed in again this time another user's account.

Wow... finally talked...

She is being bombarded with calls. Remove app was her suggestion as alot of people were calling on the issue.

I was the first to actually verify that transfers could take place and see personal history... wow!
They didn't even know that was possible.


Hope that chocolate company understands my honesty and hooks a brother up with some FREE PRODUCT!

S***, I just made a PayPal account a few days ago... Well glad that it is at least somewhat under control... Definitely keep us informed- no replies doesn't mean no one cares, just look at the number of views for this thread!

so far no other issues..
it must have just been a one nighter..
Just keep tabs on any checking or credit card accounts linked to paypal.

I never did hear a thank you or even a f off from the person I emailed about pulling up their account..
They were luckly I wasn't some teenage punk that could have gone x-box gold happy.. :angry:

Yeah, really.... When you think about it though, why would he/she bother, they are a human being after all. And most human beings won't bother, they'll just freeze assets or change their personal info, that sort of thing. Thanks for sharing!
