Alarm while phone is in silent or vibrate mode?

Hello,

I would like to have my alarm on while the phone is in either vibrate or silent mode. I want the alarm to wake me, but I dont want to hear my texts/phone calls while I am sleeping. When ever I keep the phone on vibrate, the alarm will not sound. What should I do?

On my RAZR maxx, when I go to the page that displays the list of alarms, I click on the menu button then settings. There should be an option to hear alarm while in silent mode.

App Drawer/ Clock/ Alarm/ .../ Settings/ check: Alarm in silent mode.
