Alarm Clock Ver Low Sound????

I just switched over from a mytouch with older android software. I used the Alarm clock on the phone because its very loud. Now with the Droid 2, I can't hear the Alrm, sound is very low even though I put the volume to the max level. If I check off vibrate option, I could hear phone buzzing but could only barely hear the ringtone if I'm close to the device. I also tried using a mp3 ringtone n it was still very low.

There is a setting you may have inadvertently selected which makes it ramp up from being very quiet to very loud. If you go into settings there is an option simply called volume. Keep this unchecked if you want it to be loud as soon as it starts. Hope that helps.

Another lesson. Don't sleep and Droid2. Cause you are going to sleep right through that puny alarm since the D2's speaker is so unbearably quiet.

Thanks guys. I put a mp3 ringtone n it seemed to be loud but I did uncheck that setting that makes the volume get louder. Thnks again.
