advertisement in notification area?

I I have an advertisement for some battery saving app. I'm sure it is some application I have installed but I haven't really installed any lately.

Has anyone seen this before?

It's either from an app you have installed or from Admob (part of the rom). I've seen it on mine, too.

I've seen it before. What a terrible way of advertising!! The program that's generating them on my droid x is blogger-droid. I've uninstalled it. Since the ads come around 12:00 or so, i'll update if I see the ad again tomorrow.

I have not seen any notifications today. Removing Blogger-droid resolved the issue on my X.
