adjusting brightness on camera

Is there a way to adjust the brightness on the camera? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I suppose I should have clarified that I now have a Droid X2 which I have a week to test out and if not it's back to my D3. As for the X2, I cannot find this option for the camera.
