? about the Moto Dock - Lights

My droid is docked on the headboard, behind me, I don't notice it unless I try to look for the time.

If you leave phone in dock and go to notification bar to turn dock mode back on the lights should go back out. I have forgotten to turn on my alarm or off volume this way and it has worked fine.
