A hello and a warning.

First just want to say hi and thanks for all the help on my first post. Second I know some of you may use game emulators on your droid. I am a classic game nut and use my droid for what used to be its excellent emulation capabilities. some of you may have noticed the 2.1 update kills the performance of the excellent emulators for the droid so if you use the emulators on your droid i would not recommend updating. ps i have tried alot of speed trouble shooting none work except a rollback to 2.01 wich im perfectly happy with

This is not an illusion. The 2.1 update implemented an FPS max of 30fps.... where before (on 2.0.1) it ran around 60fps.

An attempt to save battery, but severely taking away from gaming (and gaming development) on Droid. Bad move IMO.

pretty much all of the emulators have taken a severe speed hit maybe somebody will have a work around for this soon?

Im using BB rom. Will these devs be able to take the 2.1 ota and put it back at 60 fps you think when they use the current 2.1 release???

There's a thread around here some where that was talking about it.... or it may have been some of the Beta Team guys. I'll poke around later and see if I can give some more info for you guys.
